Price the defined scope, not an unnamed complete line
A meaningful sheep or goat slaughterhouse quotation needs a route, animal mix and layout basis. Separate the supplied equipment from local works and operating approvals so that different proposals can be compared on the same assumptions. No generic price or cost-per-animal figure is given here.

Route decisions that affect the scope
For halal production, the relevant certifier and country rules may determine dedicated premises, tools and evidence requirements. Confirm those decisions before pricing a shared or separate arrangement. For conventional production, define the welfare-approved method and checks, inspection and held-product movement.

Compare quotations with the same boundary
Ask each proposal to identify inclusions, exclusions, assumptions and unresolved items. A lower equipment subtotal may cover a different dehider, fewer manual positions or a smaller local-works responsibility. Written scope makes those differences reviewable without implying that any quoted arrangement is already approved.
